Sustainability
With our responsible brand awareness, we believe in the value of every step taken to leave a more livable world for future generations. We strategically carry our social and environmental benefit-oriented perspective to our operational processes and add "goodness" to our customers' online shopping experiences.
In this context, in cooperation with Ecording, a social enterprise that develops sustainable and innovative environmental technologies against the global climate crisis, we shot seed cannons with unmanned aerial vehicles called eco-drones in areas that people cannot reach and need to be afforested for every purchase made in the Hepsiburada children's clothing category.
With the orders placed by our customers, we were happy to bring 30 thousand seed balls together with nature in Muğla.
As the pressure we create on nature with what we consume increases day by day, we know that we need new saplings to meet the soil more than ever. For this reason, in cooperation with ÇEKÜL (Foundation for the Protection and Promotion of Environmental and Cultural Values), we planted thousands of saplings and created the "Hepsiburada Grove" in Sivas to raise awareness and make a meaningful contribution to nature during the March 21-26 Forest Week.
We are working hard to make the world greener and more livable.
The negative consequences of the use of plastic bags are increasing day by day. According to experts, if plastic waste continues to increase in this way, by 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the oceans. Taking action against this situation is no longer a choice but a necessity.
For this reason, as Turkey's Hepsiburada, we supported the Zero Waste Project implemented by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and brought thousands of recyclable, eco-friendly cloth bags specially produced for June 5, World Environment Day, to our customers.
In order to reduce the use of plastic bags, we aimed to encourage the use of environmentally friendly products and raise awareness on this issue by adding thousands of cloth bags produced from raw cloth to the baskets of our customers ordering on June 5, Environment Day.
